ha! yea right. i live in rural ohio in a little town on a main highway that runs through ohio. this is called a drug pipeline and it is used as an excuse to badger everyone that drives through the town. last year it was just on the main route but now it is all through the town. they are pulling people over as they drop their kids off to school. it is local, county and state law all working together. it is infuriating. most people here are farmers or country people and we are the poorest county in ohio. so when they pull people over they usually have to fabricate a reason that results in a ticket for people that can barely afford to eat. it is the whole country. not just NYC.

And just how do you think the city was cleaned up? Things like "stop and frisk" !

a decade ago i listened to police,good ones,decent people who left the force as it was all paperwork and making cash,not the community help they had joined for,and they said themselves it was leaving really nasty people in the job who loved to control.

Lest anyone is deceived, it doesn't take great skill or intelligence to be a cop. As a matter of fact, they are generally looking for recruits who have an IQ of no greater than 100 (a fact).
A cop and a gangster are interchangeable, as they must be compromised individuals. Heaven forbid another Frank Serpico is hired on into the department. I have a buddy who was rejected from the academy after his test indicated he was too honest. He also had an IQ greater than 120, and that was not going to be a good match for him and the agency. They want numb, morally compromised, unintelligent, violent individuals who will not question authority, and do what they're told.

The most worldly and evil people that we deal with are people who take oaths: police officers, judges, doctors, dentists, military personnel, etc.

Alvin in the video did seem suspicious, who actually carries a bookbag for their hoodie, even though it was cold enough that he had the hoodie on? Maybe he had the bookbag to put things he stole into. And if he was frisked so thoroughly, how did his tape recorder survive without being found? His story doesn't seem quite right. And he had been an "Explorer" meaning he was some sort of ex-offender.
