I wonder if there's still animosity from WWI. Damn you, Gavrilo Princip! Look at all the chaos and trouble you've caused.
Actually, that's sort of true. Just think...one assassin's bullet assassinating the crown prince of the Austro-Hungarian Empire while he was visiting Sarajevo, and we have WWI, which led to the Balfour Declaration and European jews to the Holy Land, and the destruction of the Ottoman Turkish Empire, which led to the British and French carving up of the middle east into pretty ridiculous nation-states, with little regard for religions, clans, tribes, etc.
Nice going, Gavrilo.
Quoting: Thor's Hamster Don't forget how in WWII it was Nazi Germany that installed the Croatian government. Whats more disturbing is that the division of the former Yugoslavia in the early 1990's the very same people were (members of the 1940's Nazi party in Croatia) were ordered and armed by ...wait for it.....GERMANY. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25137504 Yes, true. Good points. Quoting: Thor's Hamster Also to note,it was osama ben ladin that was in Sarajevo,to break up that region from Yugoslavia. Then Kosovo,a proxy of the Albanian Muslims. The self installed president of Kosovo is still under investigation for taking out organs from live Serbians while fleeing the onslaught and sold to Turkey on the Black Market after 1st passing through Albania.
