I find it very interesting that those in favor of abortion have already been born. I would be surprised if more than a handful actually have seen an abortion in detail, during its execution and the physical results to the LIVING fetus as it is torn apart and killed....or has a salt solution injected to burn it to death chemically......or maybe you might prefer the one where the "doctor" pokes a needle in its skull, swishes it around and sucks it brains out.

Virtually every failed attempted abortion that has continued to live, grow up and answer the question (and yes they do exist) have said that they would NOT have volunteered to die for the "convenience" of their mother (or any of the other excuses usually given).

if she want's an abortion she is free to get one. It is her body - her choice

The rub comes in who pays for the abortion!

Do not make someone who is Pro-Life pay for someone else to have an abortion!

If the women who need abortions cannot afford them, then let the abortion advocates pony up the funds to pay for them.

My concern comes in where they're outlawed altogether, even in cases where it will literally be fatal to the mother to be forced to carry the child, like a no exceptions platform outlawing them when ectopic and tubal pregnancies can happen. The idea of dying because you cannot get a cluster of cells cut out in order to save your life since because of 'personhood' bills, the doctor would be committing murder to do so is terrifying. Especially in the sort of cases where you can have a 12 year old girl wind up with the ectopic pregnancy of her rapist and die because of it. It's just... absurd. (For the record, I myself, have not nor would I ever get one, but I would give my own life, gladly, to keep other women's ability to choose for themselves whether or not it is the appropriate and best choice in their particular situation.)

My elderly grandmother is an inconvenience. I should have the right to put her down.

There's pro-LIFE and then there's pro-BIRTH. I would say that the majority of anti-abortionists care only that the child is born. Once born, it doesn't seem to be much of their concern whether or not the child is cared for. Take Repubs for example--anti-abortion AND anti-welfare. Weird.

I'll recognize the statistically-insignificant percentage of abortions that are performed on rape victims and in medical emergencies. Now that THAT'S out of the way, and the countless methods of birth control notwithstanding, can we agree that if a woman is responsible about where and when her vagina is exposed to a penis, the "need" for abortion becomes a non-issue altogether?

How many children have you adopted? Or maybe crack-addicted, poverty-stricken babies aren't your problem.

Abortion is the most barbaric practice on the face of the earth. Ignorance of embryology is no excuse. It is well documented the torture and pain endured by the fetus.

No other species engages in such a crude and atavistic practice. Religion aside, it's just a primitive and barbaric thing to do.
