1985--- User ID: 4303747 United States 10/12/2012 03:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was at an auto parts store yesterday and as i was browsing the merchandise, I noticed something for $30.00 that used to cost a hell of a lot more: A FM/AM freequency broadcaster. Essentially, you can program a certain AM/FM frequency into the machine, (its just a very small device, size of a pack of smokes) and then plus it into your phone or computers and play any soundbite/song/etc... and it will play it on the frequency of your choice, which will takeover whatever was originally playing on that frequency and overlap that original sound with your sound of choice....you can even get a "booter" which makes your range much wider and more powerful when overlapping the original frequency.... Does this make sense and does it help. There are simply too many frequencies out there so it could be a number of things to be honest. |

Thanks for input, but I'm not really shure how I can use this frequency broadcaster. Or are you suggesting that someone is using this? All the devices that I'm using work on different frequencies. So even if I was to use this to find a certain freq., then what I would find would be 900-1800MHz (GSM) 11m (CB) or the appropriate for WiFi. Maybe I could use it to find the range of freq. that is affected, that would be something. |

We have temporary interferences in many radio wafelengths. The problem seems to be with the output broadcast, though it's not constant, which might have suggested a burried sorce of e-m field, additionally the area was checked thouroughly with a metal detector. Quoting: skywalker 23347181 Also, it seems to be periodical - you never know when, but it usually lasts up to a couple of minutes, or shorter. CB tested from front yard - does not always get through, but sometimes very clear. No high voltage wires hanging over it. GSM and WiFi vanishes periodically around the place. My mother also admitted to chasing a ghost out of the house a couple of years ago. I don't think she would lie, but still I'm sceptical. How can I find the source of this interference? that's the norm isn't it? lol not kidding, worse of late too |
