One of the reasons the govenment wants/needs this extreme control over the populace regarding health care/records is so they can mandate the RFID chips. Our entire lives will be then tracked and recorded like the human lab rats we have become! This is all for "social control" as we move into an electronicized socialist/totalitarian system. You think there is controversy over activist topics now? In the future there will be none of that but there will be only government induced "right mindedness" control. I just got a letter in the mail today from my wifes employer stating that we will no longer have company sponsored health insurance in the year 2014. This company has 15 facilities located across the country and is owned by Blackstone. They are in the pharmaceutical industry yet they will no longer be providing health insurance. The CEO of Blackstone made $700 million last year.

It would be nice to have an ER be able to pull up info if I'm traveling someplace.

It would be great not to have to deal with the hassle of signing extra forms to transfer medical files.

It would keep costs down if there was less paper involved.

Data would be more accurate. This is better for both doctors and patients.

All sounds great up until you come back to reality. Data isn't safe, Government is always up to no good and private corporations (and public ones) aren't there to make your life better, but rather to make a quick buck.

If that were the only reasons, it would be considered helpful. But as we know the government never does anything without having some special hidden trick that will work in their favor. The case here is that the RFID chip will also have access to your bank account. If you don't have a bank account, the government will set it up for you and have total control over it.

As with almost all new things technical, if it is made by man, it can and WILL be stolen by man. If you have a RFID implant, anyone can access it with a card reader. The same kind of reader that reads your credit card, can also be set to read your RFID and wipe your account clean.

Acxiom here in Arkanansas is planning on dropping it's coverage. 3500 employees, a fortune 500 company, most of their work is data mining for the big banks. They provide great insurance now but it is going away. Right now insurance for a family is $35.00-$50.00 a month and individual is $20.00. Right now they pay 80% of the premium. My room mate is a programmer there. He says a lot of the people are OK with it and think they are going to get better insurance on their own. I can't believe they aren't pricing it on their own yet. I am betting if they did they would change their vote in a hurry.

Why do you think the Tea Party got such momentum? It was all this and more about Obamacare that caused so many to rise up and reject it.

That's why the government is forcing all doctors to go to electronic records. It's all about control. With the Obama care death panels set to start in 2014, they want everyone's records so they can decide if you are a waste of medical care. If you are over 60 you will get end of life counseling instead of treatment. If you have any chronic illness, age doesn't matter, you get end of life counseling. Rationing of health care is already starting. NY thinks it would be a good idea to limit the number of times you can see a doctor in one year. That will thin out the people with chronic illness pretty quickly. Please keep writing your reps in DC and tell them Obama-care needs repealed completely, not just amended.

I do not fear death, but I sure as hell don't want the gov;t to hasten it because they deem I am no longer worth it. Does anyone really want their healthcare controlled by the government???? It makes me sick that so many people believed the lie that " if you like the plan you have now you can keep it." So many people are in for a very rude awakening. They believed the lies and drug the rest of us down with them. Just wait until they tell you you MUST get a flu shot. Just wait until they tell you you are too old to qualify for a pacemaker, etc,etc.

Yeah...just wait...people die. That is the natural order of things. Letting somebody die naturally, before they are given useless chemotherapy and radiation, for an incurable cancer, so they can live a few more months, and then die with tumors growing out of their skull or the cancer eating holes in their flesh and making them rot alive. Healthcare has gotten out of control.

What's next? Head transplants? Let people die when it is their time. Quit giving them false hope.
