Saw this on Bloomberg. Solution. Don't eat seafood from Asia. Eat seafood caught in the U.S. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Gulf shrimp is contaminated with oil and dispersion chemicals. Prove it. Eat lobster from the New England States, crab from Alaska and the Carolina's. Salmon from Alaska. Fuck Asia especially China.

No lie. I sustained permanent damage 7 years ago from shrimp supposedly harvested in vietnam, no lot #.
Only answer to the above is to raise some nice little fishies in your own pond.

It's packaged in China with Chinese workers with Chinese shrimp? I never really thought of it, I knew they were Chinese companies but I never considered the implication of eating things that are actually shipped from areas of the world that have very different regulations and laws regarding to what can be in food.

What's made in the United States according to US regulations, and what's made in China according to US regulations could be very different things.
