Interesting update....

Tuesday night that was an unexplained fireball seen over Washington DC...

Last night a meteor that made a "loud boom" was reported in Northern California... numerous pics...

So, this hasn't stopped.....

Supposedly none are related to meteor shower expected this weekend...

Here's my theory -

Someone in Northern Ireland wrote an article about the risks if terrorists attacked satellites. We have several GPS systems that have 30-40 separate satellites. What if someone intentionally brought one of those systems down?

... Also the article talks about the risk if someone aimed one satellite at another satellite.... Imagine if it was 30 satellites playing pinball in space?

What could be the end result - hundreds of satellites brought down? Why was BBC off-line again today?

strange. I remember hearing other eye witness accounts of explosions in the aftermath of the initial explosions. MAybe this cam recorded those?

There is an interesting possibility you raise in mentioning satellites. The EMPs that the sun is blasting out at us these days might very well be knocking out satellites which then lose the ability to maintain their orbits and come crashing to the earth. I shall have to look at this possibility after all, the 10's of thousands of orbiting satellites do not have the protection that our atmosphere offers us down here on the surface. Hmmm.....
