As a Brit GLPer, the OPer may be interested to know that modern, inbred "rednecks" like these are almost exclusively of British Isles diaspora, that is of English, Scottish, or Irish ancestry.

There is, of course, a significant chance that the video is a very clever fraud. But there is no reason to automatically conclude that it is on account of the outrageous stupidity and slovenliness of the two obviously related females.

A quick visit over to the website Peopleofwalmart will confirm that slovenly stupid Americans are not all that rare.

I wish this were not true, but it is. I was a social worker for over a decade and encountered many low-IQ, low functioning -- and likely inbred -- "families" such as this.

They have both a high birthrate and high mortality rate. Drunken driving, drug abuse, and morbid obesity kill off a lot of them.

They seem like nice people. What's the problem?
