None of the dates are correct. None of the dates can possibly be correct in order to protect this time-line.

The time-lines are divergent because social history is being altered. The dates are incorrect because Titor deliberately lied about them.

Yes. Many people with education and common sense can anticipate most of this happening.

20 years ago, you heard stories from people graduating college asking where all the good $70,000 a year jobs were. You saw them working at call centers and retail stores making an average of $14.00 an hour with engineering degrees. Their fathers made $70,000 a year but now all the sons and daughters are making $35,000 a year. Middle managers were fired and people with no management experience were using software to do the job at $16.00 an hour. And because everyone is making less money, they couldn't afford to keep paying their home loans. They couldn't buy as many things. The economy collapsed.

20 years ago, you saw all the clothing manufacturing factories move to China. You knew that China was antagonistic to the West, yet you improved China's economy making them even more dangerous to the stability of the world.

20 years ago, you saw wealthy people, and multinational companies steal all the profits. You saw them tank companies and cheat the people who actually did the work out of their pensions. You saw the wealthy offer stock options they knew would be worthless after tanking the companies.

You saw where the wealthy bank executives stole your taxes to stimulate their own pockets and finance their outsourcing while they refused to loan money.

The original John Titor said there were no Olympic games after 2004.

They don't have to be aware of the progression of timelines.
If you believe Titor was actually here then you must believe in the Multi-verse theory.

Every single possibility creates a new universe.
Meaning that if someone did come back in time, what ever happened in their time will not happen in ours.
