Is Canada Free-er than the USA?
Is Canada any different than the USA these days?

Is there more freedom under the Queen's firm rule?

Is it a legitimate alternative to the police state?

Queen's firm rule? Hahahahaha
Are you from the Jamestown colony or what? The queen doesn't "rule" anywhere anymore as the power of the monarchy has been transferred to lawyers, bankers, and rich businessmen.

I thought the Queen ruled the Crown, therefore the bankers answered to her.

Seriously asking...

I do have roots there and could make a case for going back.

Queens rule? What are you talking about lol. Lived here all my life and can easily say we have no interference from her. She comes to Canada and says hi once in awhile. Other than her signing off on legislation through Ottawa, she barely has any intervention in anything we do.

Canada is definitely more free and more accepting than the states. Too be honest, the States tries to control Canada more so then the Queen. i.e. Afghan war, we didn't want to get involved and the states said if we didn't, they'd stop all trades with us. Ergo, control through manipulation.

I would say canada is more free. They arent incarcerating the population and putting them in to corporate prisons at the rate the states are. You can get caught with weed there and not go to jail. As for canada not being as much of a police state look no further than the g8 conference in toronto we follow in the footsteps of or brothers to the south.

Never a stranger :) We are very friendly and accepting of anyone. In the past few years were seeing many more Americans in Canada for education and healthcare. Until you guys establish universal healthcare and stop charging a mortgage to get an education... we'll continue to see the rise in American-Canadians. If you do move, I suggest Toronto. One minute youre in the city, 40 minute drive and its all open country ... which ever you prefer is close by.

They are mainly white and because its all farm based and noone wants to live there, there are alot of jobs and high wages. What would make 13 bucks an hour here sayyy waitressing would make 18 there for example.

You want diversity, Toronto is the place to be. We have festivals dedicated to difference cultures every year and have sections where certain nationalities live. Little greece, little italy, little china, little portugal, indian areas, black areas etc.

Canada is definitely more free and more accepting than the states. Too be honest, the States tries to control Canada more so then the Queen. i.e. Afghan war, we didn't want to get involved and the states said if we didn't, they'd stop all trades with us. Ergo, control through manipulation.

Thank you for your thoughts. Queeny is on your coins. That is probably better than Obammy bucks.

I'm surprised the US hasn't tried to annex Canada.

There is that NAU thing...where is that these days?

Sadly, American influence is heavy here in Canada. Big box stores are moving in for the kill now. The prices of their products are still in Canadian dollars, so we don't benefit from lower American pricing. There is a takeover, its just not being done with bombs & guns, its being done through big business. Canada is loosing its sovereignty & we are being assiimilated into the US. Us Canadians are quietly seething about this.

Re: Is Canada Free-er than the USA?
Since most of Canada is unpopulated wilderness, public lands or Indian land, it is obviously more free.

In the wilderness, you can smoke a joint wherever you want, every beach is a nude beach if you want, etc.

Probably. Definitely prettier and less of a shit hole since there is way less people living there. 30 million compared to 300 million in the USA.
