The place is indeed per-determined,
but how we are placed within the space,
our space in place (or was it place in space?),
is determined in respect to our position relative to others.

So, we are in a place (per-determined),
but we create a place,
a position to put ourselves in,
in order to create a thing.

There they're their.

Our interactions with others will change based on our position - not the place, but the thing.
