Crewmember Lost on HMS Bounty was Descendent of Fletcher Christian
Claudene Christian, who died in hospital Monday night after the tall ship Bounty went down earlier in the day, was in Nova Scotia in August for the tall ships festival.

The great-great-great-great-great granddaughter of Fletcher Christian, the master’s mate who took command of the original Bounty from William Bligh in the mutiny of 1789, said in an interview while here that she had wanted to get taken on as a crew member on the replica Bounty for a long time.

Did she drown? If she died in the hospital, maybe it wasn't drowning. Maybe she got hit by some falling debris on the ship.

WOW, that's weird.

I actually got on the Bounty once. Really beautiful. So sad for her and the ship.

Do you see the irony?

Christian - dies

Bounty of America - gone

NY - dark, flooded, empty - Future destruction

So much irony it can't just be a coincidence.

The US Coast Guard confirms the body of Claudene Christian, 42, a crew member of the HMS Bounty who went missing in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of North Carolina Sunday evening, has been recovered.

“A crew aboard an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, N.C., located Christian who was unresponsive, hoisted her into the helicopter and took her to Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City,” a news release from the Coast Guard states.

It’s believed Christian was in the water for 9 or 10 hours, according to Saulsberry.

Thanks for that info. Damn, that's horrific. Why the hell did they take that ship out when Sandy was approaching?!

Just wanted to say good job, to all of you aircraft chemtrail spraying crews who worked non-stop to create a wag-the-dog hurricane to protect Obama and Hillary's Benghazi asses.

Sleep well - you killed her.

And how many others?

Sad ... sad ... sad ...

Who the hell made the decision to put out into the Atlantic ocean beyond the outer banks in a wooden movie replica of a 200+ year-old ship, ... facing an approaching super-humongous weather system that had already taken lives in its path, and which is the focus of every frickin' weather report on the East coast?

Better to sacrifice the ship at anchor, evacuate and let the Hollywood replica get busted up, rather than risk the lives of those on board.

I mean it. Who made that decision, and were they on board? If not, where are they hiding now?

And; your point is what, Troll?

She chose her birth parents? Do you have any proof that she was born on Pitcairn?

Shame that you weren't on board ... huh?

Half-wits are the reason that I left the UK over 20 years ago.

I appreciate you confirming the reasons why I've never had the desire to return.

That's like "Final Destination" shit right there! The seas went through 7 generations and a replica to finally catch up with the Christian family! That's some weird, universal karma going down!

Sad. Very bad decision to attempt heavy seas..
A non-sailor... might have made a difference if she'd had more experience.
