No gas, no electricity, pretty much without a prayer of surviving long. If you manage to keep warm somehow, food becomes your next concern. |

On a positive note, we won't die from drowning. Quoting: Aunty Flo Atmosphere will disappear within seconds... then absolute zero explain why would the atmosphere disappear . How does the suns heat effect gravity? |

The Earth's atmosphere retains heat. Otherwise we would freeze to death tonight after the sun went down. I think it would be a matter of weeks. |

The question was: Given your knowledge of physics, how long would it take the earth to freeze solid if the sun was to suddenly burn out? Yeah...lots to consider there. Decades ago, but I think the closest to correct was all surface life would die off in the first 24 hours and the earth would be frozen solid in like 800 billion years. Hell, I did not even finish the problem and may remember the answers wrong. Behind every fading culture is a successful mission.---FUGUM |

That is my point that the sun is heating on the other side of the planet. And the atmosphere retains the heat on the dark side to a certain degree or we would all freeze to death at nightfall. By the Sun shining on it you fucking dipshit. The ocean is mainly what retains the heat. |
