Message Subject Is Jesus GOD....i'm so confused

OP, this is how I believe because I saw it in my mind. Jesus is part of the Father, He literally stepped out of the Father. He is the part of the Father that we can interact with. He is the bridge to the Father.

Everything else and everyone else.....was created through Jesus for Jesus.

I know it's not possible to completely grasp this, how can we when we don't have a reference point in the physical to compare it to?

Just have faith.

Lisa TY for your honesty.

The problem is with that one statement that you saw it in your mind, (thought it), and then believed your thought 100% that it must be true.

Well that is simpy wrong, any psychologist will tell you that. A simple thought can become a simple belief way too easily!

But continuing with what Jesus said... I guess we should consider his opinion over mankinds, shouldn't we?

Men have been very wrong with Bible stuff since the beginning. They have used GOD to justify all manner of atrocities, and you guiys don't even blink.

If Jesus and GOD are one, then Jesus must be lying in many of the passages that follow.

John 1:18 NO MAN HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

AND

John 5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. YE HAVE NEITHER HEARD HIS VOICE AT ANY TIME, NOR SEEN HIS SHAPE.

AND

John 6:46 NOT THAT ANY MAN HATH SEEN THE FATHER, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

To actually argue what people are arguing here means Jesus can't be telling the truth here as they are ONE!

And why are you ignoring the following words spoken by JESUS yet you rely so heavily on humans?

Jesus said "Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Why the obvious separation between Jesus and GOD in Jesus' words?

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him (GOD) should not perish, but have everlasting life.

It is very clear that the him is GOD who sent Jesus ... NOT Jesus! It is shown in John 5:24 for if it is wrong Jesus should never have said what he said in John 5:24 because it is untrue according to you people.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

But let's cover a few more examples of people who call themselves Christians ignoring Jesus' teachings to push their own agendas.

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty" (Revelation 1:8).

Earlier someone presented this and yet this is embarrassingly simple to answer.

Sorry for the length of this post.

Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ (one entity), which God (another entity)gave unto him (Jesus), to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel ( a third entity) unto his servant John:

Why didn't Jesus say Revelation 1:8 when he was on Earth?

Why did he allegedly deliver it through a 3rd Party in Revelations? And modern scholarship doesn't even believe it was through the Apostle John.

BUT worse why did he go so far out of his way NOT to say that when he was on Earth? He referred to himself as the SON OF MAN!

Instead of simply saying "I AM GOD" he refused to say it...

BUT even Jesus' own words won't get you to question what you think is right and yet is wrong. Read what I originally posted - Jesus' own words when he was on Earth!

And some more

Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, GOD.

Here Jesus loudly makes a distinction between GOD and himself. Doesn't he? He wouldn't have said it if he were GOD!

Matthew 26:39 “And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I (Jesus) will, but as thou (GOD) wilt.”

Was he praying to himself here? Was he begging himself to stop this thing? It is obvious he is asking GOD (his father in heaven)to reconsider. How can he be GOD and do this?

John 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

GOD has life in himself, and Jesus has life in his own right. Note the separation here! It is very important!

John 5:30 I (JESUS) can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father (GOD) which hath sent me.

Jesus says, without GOD I can do nothing... This is loudly yelling we are separate entities OR Jesus is being deceiptful... Would Jesus be deceiptful and lie?

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

Jesus sees his father (GOD) do things and does the same! If he were one entity he wouldn't have stated this!

Matthew 6:9 Our Father, which art in Heaven.

If Jesus is GOD and the father why did he teach people to pray like this?

Matthew 27:46 My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?

So Jesus has foresaken himself... Who is he pleading to? It can only be GOD.

Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

So Jesus says you can criticise Jesus BUT you can't criticise the Holy Ghost as that is unforgiveable? Where did the trinity disappear to with this statement?

John 17:21-23 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

This is Jesus showing oneness... We can be as one BUT we aren't one entity with GOD. Can you be GOD or Jesus? NO!
This should be burning into your retnas!

Jesus said to his disciples

John 5:30-31 "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father (GOD) which hath sent me (JESUS).

If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true."

Do you believe Jesus yet? He is explaining this stuff in great detail and yet his words seem to mean nothing!

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father (GOD) will send in my (JESUS") name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Three entities here... all separately mentioned, clearly and presisely!

BUT seeing you like seem to prefer men's teachings even Paul is confused!

1 Corinthians 15:27-28 For he hath put all things under his (JESUS') feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he (GOD) is excepted, which did put all things under him.

And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Paul says that everything is under Jesus except GOD himself. Is Paul wrong here and GOD and JESUS are equal? That's not what it says!

But the line I always love most is this one

1 John 5:7-8 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Please search this in Google - Everyone should know by now that it didn't appear in the original Greek versions but was added by scribes much later.

It was first observed listed in the margin, "IN LATIN" and so was added to strengthen the case for GOD and Jesus being one being.

It is called "The Johannine Comma". It is very hard to defend BUT some believers will do anything to hang on to the false doctrine of the trinity.

They won't even trust Jesus...lol

Research it for yourselves!
