Regardless of what your State voted, the Feds trump you. They will still require testing, your firearms questionnaires will still be called into question, they will still bully/harass anyone trying to run a hemp business and it will basically be the few sheep that are willing to run through the medical marijuana hurdles that will smoke it freely. |

Not saying its right but thats how it will play out. You might be the first state to try and openly legalize it, but you are not the first in making it legal in some sence...they got you all figured out, trust me. |

It comes down to this: THE COMPANY. I as a medical marijuana patient could have the legal right within a state for example (before these two states passed the new law), but a company didn't have to hire me if I pissed dirty. The best thing to do was to be upfront with them. NOW, however, it changes, but I still think it will be up to "COMPANY POLICY". Some may have to rethink or rewrite their drug policy or what they test for of course. |

The feds don't trump state law due to the 10th amendment. Everything in the constitution is the law, anything else is a states right issue. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23746394 That's not an accurate statement. the Supremacy Clause of the US Constitution says that the Constitution, Federal Statutes and Treaties are the supreme law of the land. The 10th Amendment just says that powers not given to the federal government or not prohibited to the states are reserved to the states. |
