We went to 6 of the Canary Islands. There were mainly Brits at each resort we went to. They were very condescending and rude to us, on purpose. I think they did not like the fact that we were at the places they "Holiday" at. My Husband and I were very polite to everyone. They rolled their eyes at us. Plugged their ears at dinner, even though we spoke in hushed tones. It was awful.

I was actually looking forward to chatting with the people we met on each Island. I understood that there would be a lot of British and Germans. The Brits showed nothing but disdain for us and even turned their noses up at us if we sat next to them.

It was very disheartening. I was excited to talk to the Brits and hear their stories. Instead, we were treated like trash.

We have also traveled to Norway, Rome and Spain and the Brits we encountered on the way were just as rude as they were in the Canary Islands.

Maybe you shouldn't have voted Bush and Cheney in, fuckface.
