Maimed and killed? Unlikely. We are talking about merely observing what the party hacks are doing to the ballots. Apparently they don't want anyone to see. Does that sound all above board to you?

By the way, I am not advocating blood letting, but a peaceful intervention. Unfortunately I'm thousands of miles away from Florida, otherwise I think I would go down there and protest. The people that need to grow a pair are the republican observers. They need to stop being nice.
