Now we really ARE on page 3! Thank you for the link to that thread, Salt, it was VERY informative. And while I can see how Obama might fulfill some of those requirements, he definitely does not fulfill all of them, or even a greater percentage of them.

Perhaps he is more of a "John the Baptist" figure, designed to "prepare the way". After all, if the AC parallels the life of Jesus, he'll need someone to stir up the enthusiasm of the people before he actually arrives (or presents himself) which is sort of what John's job was.
