I don't even know how they have internet signal that far in the back woods. A little history 101: Jesus of Nazareth a JEW, started christianity by branching out from the common day faith of Judiasm. He taught compassion and love for ALL people my dear. He was persecuted because his beliefs coincided with some of the basics of Judiasm like punishment for those who did not believe what you believe. So his whole purpose was NOT to push his religion on others with penalty. He wanted to give the people an option, if you live this life of peace and love you will be rewarded. He taught that you should "wipe the dirt off the face of the hungry and let them drink all the water you carry, you will be nourished by god." "When they beat you in my name, smile at them with love in your eyes, do not hate them they will be punished for their wrong doing against you." "To judge is of godly men, who are you to judge and point out the splinter in his eye, remove the wood from your own first so you may see clearly." Very few books of the bible are based off of Jesus's actual teachings. NOthing jesus teaches involves hatred, that is exactly what he was against and he died in the name of Love. The rest of the bible is a contradictory interpretation of what others believe is right added to it. Not the words of Jesus himself. The belief that Jesus died for your sins, and that by sinning you will go to hell, and even the SINs named themselves were not from Jesus Christ that is part of the bible created thousands of years after his death. Including the belief that Homosexuality is a sin. Not from Jesus...so The other people writing the bible would be ashamed. Not Jesus himself. Get an education. |
