one has to decide if he chooses free will or if he chooses to be well.
in the first case, one incurs full responsibility of his choices and actions, for better or worse.
in the second, case one we be well but will not be at liberty to do what he wants, and would not be good for him.

some souls are not prepared for full free will responsibility, so they would be wise in choosing the second option. and many do, religious worship is a prime example of choosing this.

unfortunately, there are many which are not in a position to use free will wisely, but are so addicted to some things/desires/a false concept of 'freedom' that they insist they choose free will. and in their case this is a sure ticket to the hard way of suffering
