Let me explain this, in a nutshell.
The state of Washington has an enormous amount of rain, like 300 out of 365 days a year on average. These gullible fucks allowed the town shit4brains to pass a measure that makes it a crime to trap or use the water that hits their roof.
Is that the most backwater fucked up thing you have ever heard?....
The state of Washington doesn't care that the very water replenishes the local aquafier, it only cares about the size of your roof, which is used to assess a tax.
The water goes right down the downspout and into the street, and thus mixes with the gutter/street runoff and then into the local streams....
They try to claim their fees are to offset the local water treatment, but every year the fees go up and nothing is being done with the fees collect except to line the boards pockets.
If you can't see through this bullshit, grab a pillow and go back to sleep.
Property Tax - check Street Tax - check Sewer fees - check Water bill - check Rain runoff - check School tax - check Police tax - check Fire department - check 911 tax - check Landline phones - check Road tax - check Breathing tax - check
.....at what point do you have to ask, how long you can afford your local board to make decisions for you?
....and every year, it's an increase on the people who make the jobs, work for a living, and have to support those who dont.
Rise up.
