I pretty much agree with you. I don't watch TV, but if I do they somehow manage to get gay topics in on a routine basis. I live in a left-wing college town, and I NEVER see gay men (at least, that I know of). We only make up 2-3% of the population, yet it's all over the media. I don't like manufactured realities like that (including straight male "acceptance").
