No money to bury their mom

If she was a member of a church they will bury here in the Church cemetary

a paupers grave is a free burial for someone that has no money to bury their family or used for an unknown . otherwise know as a county burial. cemeteries have always had a paupers grave section and is still used today.

What makes it worse, they kept treating her for a UTI and it was cancer, they gave her 6 months to live 5 years ago, she kept hanging in cause of kids , no dad around , then 3 weeks ago they gave her 5 days and she died yesterday

Our Church is going to do that part

Everyone deserves a funeral.

I have never run across this but 5 years of cancer took everything, just pray for a miracle they cant have funeral till they come up with money

Wish I could help too, but am not able except to offer up prayers for them. God can and will see them through if we come together for them in prayer as well as financial support.

I imagine they aren't the only ones today with that same problem. Not to trivialize it, it is still very sad.

Try doing a state search for wherever she lived.

My condolences to her family.

It cost 200 for creamation. That is a solution. and you can take the Ashes home in a zip lock sealed bad.

Not meaning to be rude but this would be a solution.

Most Churches will allow you a funeral with a small donation. IF she was affiliated with a chuch it would be free.

That being said.. any one can committe a soul to the other world. just say a prayer.

sadly i cannot help either, maybe if u try calling allll the local churches around you could maybe get some help, try muslims as well. They usually are really nice ppl even thoo i dont agree with everything they say mainly about jesus" but other then that just explain the story these ppl might help my friends. may god bless.

Here in Texas the funeral homes have cardboard an wooden coffins cheap by comparison. Also when families have trouble they put jars in 7-lls, doughnut shops etc. with explanations brief on them. Open account at local bank for donations etc. and get local paper to mention it.

Above usually done by friends etc.

Can you (OP) get us some info on who/where to send a small donation to help. Burial expense can be an outrage. We did the "cheap" route on my mother's funeral and it still cost us over seven grand total.

And she already owed the funeral plot free and clear. It was that much for casket, embalming, prep of her body for viewing, etc. Seven grand is a LOT of money for such a modest service, but it was about as cheap as we could go and still have a "real" service vs throwing her body into a cardboard box and cremating her.

I had my mother cremated (her wishes) Her spirit is gone but her ashes are in a box in a sunny window in my home surrounded by plants and crystals. Tomorrow is the one year mark.
