No seriously! Where did the virus come from. I find it so odd that no one has asked this before. SOMEONE had to have unleash it. It did not come out of no where.

Um.. They said where the virus came from in season 2, while at the CDC. They created it, it wasn't what they expected, it got loose, and after like X amount of days went global.

Yes. Notice how the rarely show the main/decent characters dead in full view? I think it is out of respect for the fans not having to see them having a gruesome death. Take Shane for instance. He was a complete asshole. I bet most people wanted to see him dead so nothing was spared there.

NOBODY knows even the creator, And you know why? Because the WALKING DEAD is not about zombies, not in the original comic.

It is about persons and their behavior in a crumbled civilization. THE DANGER is not from the DEAD but THE WALKING DEAD the "living persons" who try to dominate others as a mean of surviving.

We don't know where virus came from, they haven't even explained it in the comics and they are way ahead of the current storyline in the shows.

And considering both the tv show and comic creators have said that it's not important to them right now in terms of explaining how all this started, we may never know.

But they have hinted at created a possible walking dead prequel in the form of a movie to explain the origins due to the success of the show.

it's the 'Lost' principle; keep them guessing and figure it out as you go along - the CDC had no clue, either..

From what i know is that you can get it from the zombies biting you. Also, everyone is infected, that is why when they die ( shane ) they come back as zombies.

I think it was a gov experiement since the CDC was involved and the gov screwed up in turn was airborne. Black helicopters showed napalming the cities in season 2

I was watching the talking dead after the epsiode that T-bone bt the dust and they said they have 102 new episodes yet to be seen an the story line could last 7 years ( seasons ) I was delighted to hear that as I know the comic book only was what 3 years or seasons?

She's missing, she didn't die Tbone held them off since he was going to become one anyways. Either they bring her back in a later episode or that was their way of getting rid of her.

Because they are alive! that is why it matters to them getting bitten. As long as they don't die they don't become.

best watch the show and discover the mystery with the rest of us. Maybe that phone call has something to do with it.

The virus's orign is un-important...

Surviving the walkers is the only task at hand.

And many virii/ bacteria that are sometimes lethal live within many of us harmlessly.
