Yep, agreed Nvidia 500 series and above. Nvidia cards tend to have better driver support than ATI. Also AMD which makes ATI cards is going through some tough times right now and their future is uncertain...

nvia gets more support from game makers overall so this will have the better experience with driver compatibilty/glitches. amd is still great overall and has it's edges. if money wasn't an issue i would consider the gtx 670/680
