Yes, I'm from Russia and yes this story is really creepy. However things were becoming very bad in Jonestown, Jones knew it and this assasination was the last drop. These people became exiles because both USA and USSR governments didn't really want to be involved with them and this whole utopian idea was destined to fail from the beginning.
