Bugging out or bugging in?
With the world now throwing bigger rocks at each other, Trinity kind of scarying the beejesus out of us glp'ers i thought it'd be a good idea to start or redo a thread on this subject. Anyway, here goes:
I'm a spry 62 recovering from rotator cuff surgery (pretty bad had to use 4 screws that look like something you'd use to hang a picture on the wall with....) anyway, our Lord has blessed my bride of 42 years and i with a home in the city and an off grid place a couple hours away. seriously, everything is at the will of our Father. When we got the cabin it was my belief (and still is) that this is where we'd (along with the family) would head when TSHTF. My daily prayer is not only to be able to discern when it's time to go but to be awake enough to hear His still small voice above the racket of this world. Either way we'll make do 'till it's time to go home... i pray all of you will know His will in your life and live it, amen.
Well, that's my plan what's yours?

Depends on the situation.
I'm prepared for both options/

Neither - you are describing a survivalist DOOM fantasy that will never come. I mean, you can feel free to "bug out" and feel all special, but there will never be a reason to.

Re: Bugging out or bugging in?
Hi, my situation is similar. We live in the city but have land/cabin about two and a half hours drive from here out in the country. Most preps are there and I too wonder if I will get "stuck" in the city either by martial law, huge earthquake ruining the roads, panic causing freeway congestion, or EMP making my car unusable. I keep my gas tank 3/4 full, and have a small BOB in the car. Bigger BOB at home. My husband knows that if he is out of town to make his way to the property and I will do the same, if we can't connect by phone to make a situational plan.

GLP is my early warning system. Whenever anything shocking happens in the news I come straight to GLP for the real story. I try to stay alert to world events and I do intend to survive whatever comes.
