Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10372663 OP that looked like FUN!! everyone is rambo and terminator combined here..lol and that is not 600 yards, if it was i would be the best noob ever. it was roughly a bit more than 2 football fields. |

Epic Beard Guy User ID: 26240425 United States 11/19/2012 06:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Other than having fun, that didn't seem to accomplish anything. Both rifles are very good, but designed for different uses. You were pushing the range of the AR, but easily in the range of the Mosin. Dollar for dollar, the Mosin is hard to beat. The AR is the best for all around shooting (and fun!). For $200 you get a Mosin and accessories, and another $100 gets you a full can of surplus ammo. That's a lot of fun for $300. The AR is a lot more money, but you have a lot more fun with it. I put a quad-rail on so I can put more toys on it. I have so many toys that only about half are on it at any time. The bump stock makes it work like a full auto. The only prblem with the AR can go through a lot of ammo. Unfortunately, Mine like most ARs has a 16in. barrel, which just wont make those long shots. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. "America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe |

My brother doesn't seem to take the Nagant seriously. I always like to point to. Simo Häyhä (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈsimɔ ˈhæy̯hæ]; December 17, 1905 – April 1, 2002), nicknamed "White Death" (Russian: Белая смерть, Belaya Smert; Finnish: valkoinen kuolema; Swedish: den vita döden) by the Red Army, was a Finnish sniper. Using a modified Mosin–Nagant in the Winter War, he has the highest recorded number of confirmed sniper kills – 505 – in any major war |
