How can I cure my racism ?

Cool. I called it though! Definitely saw some native american.

I am like 1/4th native American. I have different races in my blood. Black white, Indian , French , Italian, Filipno, Irish. I just go by black even though my skin color is not black. Oh and my grandmother is creole.


My I ask as what you see yourself.

I could imagine it would be quite confusing not to “belong” to a group or race?

Bit like me;

I am a native German living in the UK since 24 years.

If we go to Germany our relatives say “Look here come the English”..

Once we are back in the UK our neighbours say “Look, the Germans are back”.

Just can’t win..

I am 50+ and white, I had the same issue and plus my parents were huge racists, Mom was from Louisana and Dad was from Mississippi.
I had a lot of trouble getting over it as it was taught to me from birth, even had a black sister and brother as friends in Jr. high school, when Mom found out she broke everything in my bedroom up.

What helped with me is I am not really color prejudice any more, but I have a HUGE prejudice with rude people and stupid people.

Rude and stupid comes in all colors so shifting your prejudice since you are finding it hard to "cure" helped me the most and was relatively easy to do.

Color prejudice is kind of silly when you think about it, because:
Animals and pets come in all colors.
Clothes and shoes come in all colors.
Food comes in all colors.
Cars come in all colors.
and
Flowers and Butterflys come in all colors.

Life would be pretty boring if everything was just one color. Beige kind of sucks after awhile. :)

Like you, with the exception of being white skinned my family also has a mix off indian, welsh, german, french and english in our blood.
We refer to ourselves as being a Heinz 57 instead of just white.
The original food Heinz product claimed to have 57 varieties :) It described people of mixed lineage perfectly without referring to any one skin tone. :)

we all have some prejudice here and there.

nobody likes drug dealers, criminals and people like that.

but not all boys from the hood are like that, there used to be even in media men from american ghetto who were lovely, smart, talented men, but were pushed to the curb and raplaced by gansta rappers, and i mean no disrespect to ices, both T or cube:))

anyway, just find nice people there and remeber that when people have a tough life often they learn to act tougher than they really are.
less loving than they really hvae the capacity for.
maybe you'd be amazed how many gentle souls you'd find in the ghetto, even among petty criminals and yes i'll say it, drug dealers, you never know.

Regardless of how I look at it if you judge someone solely based on their skin color then you cannot be objective (which is the definition of racism). So I don't see why me paraphrasing your words has any impact.

For example should I hold you (and myself) accountable for a string of mass murdering that have happened in the past by other whites (eg. Columbia shooting, invasion of Iraq, Charles Manson etc. etc.)? Should we be accountable for the acts of slavery preformed by our ancestors? What about neo nazis that still beat the shit out others every now and then?

Judge people based on who they are and what they have done. Not what others did who happened to have the same skin colour as them.

Question 1: I have never heard a black guy call a white man doughboy. They may call eachother dough boys because of money.

Question 2: They may say that he or she is too white because they may talk very proper and maybe they are very conservative or live up to the strereotype. I am black, but I was told that I was "too white" . It's definitely a mental thing,

Question 3: I never heard of that either. They may say that because some blacks think that all whites are racist. They may say Billy Bob , because they think that name makes the white person seem like a racist country bumpkin that lives in the back woods.

Realize we are all brown. We are labeled into groups because collectivist entities have no rights guaranteed by the law, but INDIVIDUALS have an entire Bill of Rights and Constitution ascribed to them. TPTB want us grouping people based on how we look, what we call god, the accents we have, etc...but in reality we are all of one race: HUMAN. Not gonna bore you with all of the scientific mumbo-jumbo, but it is there if you look for it. EVERYONE is brown, just different shades, ranging from very dark to yellow-brown or white-brown. Just look down at your arm compared to a piece of printer paper. Or next time you see a "black person" ask them to stand next to a chalkboard and notice the contrast. It deals with melanin and pigmentation, which all forms of are brown; your tone will depend upon the dominant and recessive genes you inherited. "Black" people can have "white" babies, and vice-versa (trolls keep your infidelity jokes to yourself, thanks). Stop seeing people in groups and see individuals that God created, and if they were blessed enough to be born in America, has endowed with unalienable rights. Until everyone realizes that "WE THE PEOPLE" is the only collective group that we should allow our government to categorize us into, racism will never die and civil liberty will never be restored.

I'm not religious but all people have souls. Some are good from god and some are evil from hell (devil). Now I can see if you are racist against evil people. I am too. But that's all. Racist against evil.

Realize we are all individuals and can't be judged fairly by each other, only by God.
