It's bullshit for delusional parents with spoiled brats. Real autism is a disconnect from the herd mentality, a penchant for logic over feeling and emotion, and being misunderstood not because of a sense of self-righteousness but for an opposing conceptualization of the world that the herd can't comprehend and is hostile toward.
