[ link to dairycowdiary.wordpress.com] An animal is slaughtered within minutes whereas a cow and the calf mourn each others 'death' for a lot longer so us humans can enjoy the milk that nature intended for the cows young. This is not a preach thing. Just something to make you think. A cow needs to be milked twice a day or it would be in udder pain!
