The 36 hours will end Tuesday evening Israel time

It was announced by Arutz Sheva. The other reports I've found are referencing that one. So it is about 19 hours now.

As stated, the attacks out of Gaza must cease by Tuesday evening.

We'll see. Since that huge natural gas deposit was found, the whole Arab world is suddenly panting to support the Palestinians. Yassar Arafat must be rolling in his grave. They were so much the poor stepchild before. Nobody had time for them.

The stakes now are in the trillions, so no money will be spared hiring propagandists and rousing the rabble.

Doubt if any peace will come of it, but it could be that the Gazans will play nice long enough for the Israelis to withdraw.

This isn't going away anytime soon.
