Anyone that is on the fence about doing it should just take the plunge and take a trip south of the boarder for it. I would absolutely recommend doing it with a seasoned shaman and not some new age hipster. I met one group down there that went to a more American styled retreat the time before and they said it was a mess. Their white shaman actually lost his shit and had to be brought back to his hut during one of the sessions. With a true shaman it was an out of this world time. The icaros he chanted during the sessions where worth to trip alone. |
