Let say-they know a lot, from a long time and they aren't surprised. Bulgaria was a communist country for 45 yrs. and the ones who are interested in politics are laughing that the US resembles a communist state. They ask: Why in the world Americans voted for 0bama twice?! The economy is suffering like everywhere in the EU but every other car is a Mercedes, BMW, Porsche. I have seen plenty of Maybach' and Bentley' in the capital Sofia. There is a corruption in the government, they are stealing ftom the EU subsidiary money like crazy. There is a completely different story in the countryside. People struggle there a lot. The agriculture is ruined, the young people are running to the big city to find jobs. The nature is divine, the people are friendly. Some things are more expensive than in the US. Go figure... |
