what childlike means to me is having no ego, no pride, no racial prejudices. little kids can be friends with anyone and for the smallest reason. innocent and undefiled. what Jesus was saying in the verse above is to become childlike which would include my description but this is no excuse to be accepting of sin and false ways, BUT to be understanding and loving of all people having no prejudices against them just like Jesus when he hung around prostitutes and theives and dregs of society, he was loving and understanding with no prejudice but told them to sin no more.

to be a greedy selfish lazy worthless parasitic asshole that thinks they are the center of the universe and that they are entitled to any materialistic crap they want for free (cuz somebody else will pay for it).

they didn't start out like that though, but the corporations know exactly how to get their hooks in them.

Anyway, as to another's interpretation above, what does the two year old child do? What HOW et all. curiosity. Also the child has not fully been programmed by his culture, and to become like a child again, is to become who you ARE and grow out of the boxed conditions of cultures. Other than God is within you, and the left out teaching of reincarnation, this is perhaps one of his most important teachings. Children until programmed are naturally sovereign. The "terrible twos" defines that nicely. I called them the terrific twos myself.

just for the one who asked who did not know I was editing my post.

It basically means freeing your mind of the indoctrination and programming of the Matrix system. Returning to your pristine self when you first came into this world. You were holy when you came and not a sinner as religion and society would have you believe. The systems of this world however corrupted what was pure in you.

You already have this information in you when you came into this world. You need to become aware of this and free your mind from the matrix. A return to that holy self means discounting language and all self identity. I have covered a number of these points in my threads.

From a mom's perspective:

Children are very rarely lazy unless they are sick...

They are constantly learning and desiring to learn... 

They have an inherent sense of morality... 

They usually all believe in a spiritual presence or God...  

While they can be selfish they love like nobodies business....  Each hug, kiss and cuddle are pure delight in connecting with another person...

Which leads me to sex - children raised in healthy environments are not corrupted by sexualization and can understand true intimacy.  When our hormones change this we lose the ability for that kind of intimacy because we are then biologically driven verses spiritually driven...

They love to laugh, play, do everything at 100%...

They don't prejudge but they do follow their instincts rather well...

They have an ability to "grow" at exponential rates that we lose into adulthood...  

That's just off the top of my head.

Then why do children bully? Yes they do.
