anyone in the UK just hear that rumbling?

No didn't hear anything-->>what part of the UK you in? i am on the South Coast.

what did it sound like?

im in cheshire, it sounded like a really low rumble... went louder as it went on, deffo wasnt a plane or jet sound, no where near, wasnt thunder sound either... never heard anything like it, closest ive heard is the rumble from a quake... but there was no shaking

I here a strange rumbling 90% of the time.

This was probably weather related.

There was one in southern California, as well.

I don't really know how to use this site I just bookmarked it when the Israel stuff went on. I'm not really a doom prepper or whatever. But that scared the crap out of me. My dog is barking at my door still. Any info you guys need to know what it was? Help!
