I'm being sarcastic as well! Hello? This is scary. Everyone needs to wake up and take notice to what's going on. There's nothing we can do to stop it as the guy in the earlier video was almost angry suggesting that no one was doing their "job" and basically "fix" our beach. Really??? I almost stopped reading at that point without seeing a "bs flag" raised but my own intuition tells me different. I believe it is happening right in front of our own eyes. Its only a matter of time. Idk if its going to be sudden or 50-100 yrs from now but things are changing.

OMG, had no idea this was happening! Pretty crazy stuff!!!!!
 Quoting: StormeyGoddess

there was a thread about this a few days back...also happening up the east coast

the ocean is moving in, reclaiming land

they had said the east coast of the US would be hit the worst, as the ice of Greenland melts

but somehow "they" aren't saying a word to warn people or get them out of harms way...just kinda letting em figure it out for themselves

 Quoting: IssueX

Plenty of people are talking about it, but here at GLP anyone who mentions climate change is a shill and a liar and a tool. People hear what they want, and believe comforting lies over the truth.

Most all of Florida is sea level with the highest part being around 10 foot above sea level somewhere near Orlando if memory serves me right.

The entire population of Florida is going to soon be very surprised that they have been floated out into the ocean.

The people will always deny this and stay til the bitter end or the drowning end.

I left Florida back in 1999 and will never return there.

I visited Jacksonville 22 years ago and we went to the beach and used to like going to one particular area. I moved there a couple of years ago and went back to the same beach to find that the whole section where I used to like to lay out on was completely under water.

This is really scary and it's happening, it seems, at a pretty fast rate.

This thread is full of complete nincompoops!

Nothing is going on, lived on East Coast my entire life, Florida for last 20. Learn about beach erosion, tides, weather, moon cycles, dunes, beach replenishment etc. than just maybe you could make some kind of valid statement.

One of the most calamitous predictions:
"Watch New York, Connecticut and the like. Many portions of the east coast will be disturbed, as well as many portions of the west coast, as well as the central portion of the United States. Los Angeles, San Francisco, most of all these will be among those that will be destroyed before New York, or New York City itself, will in the main disappear. This will be another generation though, here; while the southern portions of Carolina, Georgia, these will disappear. This will be much sooner. The waters of the Great Lakes will empty into the Gulf of Mexico."

that elevation is probably in the pan handle but with what is supposed to happen that still won't be enough.

one day florida will be no more.

i wonder if that will be in my lifetime?

We have been dealing with this since Sandy. The roads by the beaches are flooded and now they have to make A1A a one way street. Scary stuff.

8 years ago, my wife and I moved from Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta after living there since birth, (1975). Anyway, last year my brother got married the weekend before Thanksgiving at a hotel about 1/2mile north of this spot. My wife and I decided to take the kids for a walk and sure enough the no-name storm that sat off coast that year had pushed seawater, seaweed and debris onto A1A Hwy there.

Re: South Florida Beach Emergency
Wake up everybody. There are only a few things that can cause this. Well ok three and none are good.

First your sinking. Thats not a stretch as Pakistan has sunk 10 feet since this time last year as recorded and documented by Nasa's Earth watch Satelite.

Second. The water is moving towards the poles. The poles attract water towards them and seeing how the poles have moved 40 degrees and are now in the Red Zone for a Pole Shift this could also be the cause of the water moving inland.

Third. The ocean levels. I don't think this is the cause. Jakarta has had a tide roll in that won't recede right now and is getting inundated by water.

Combodia and Veitnam Sinking along the coast. Same as other area's of the coast are experiencing this World Wide. Uk under water right now.

I'm just going to throw this one out there. Is there somthing wrong with the MOON. Is this the Planetary Alignment of December 3rd....? Giza Pyramid Conjunction.

Is this the instability all along the East Coast my Dad has been warning the people of Louisianna about in conjunction with the sinkhole. Get the hell off the Coast.

Somthing is coming very soon. Its going to be bad when it happens. I think the Pole Shift is Near. Very Near.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20025513

why the hell are you so worried? Obama will take care of us. If I see some land and/or water shifts I will call all of my relatives on my obama phone and tell them to bug out. chill out, barry's got our back

WoW!!!!!!

I was there in 97. This is due to the rise of the ocean waters due to ice meltage at the north pole region (off of greenland, iceland etc etc).

You are all stupid uneducated retards. Its called beach erosion, and island progression caused by strong lateral currents from storms cutting deep troffs just offshore, followed by the beach eroding into them over the next months.

Given a deep enough cut it could eat back into the land quite far. It could swallow a few beach front blocks, and there would be nothing to do about it.
