Actually, when I cry, I do it in slow motion. That way I get the release and I feel like a boss when I walk away with a new sense of purpose and leave the tears slowly streaming on the floor behind me. (Cue epic string score).

Sure you do, but that's also when you decide that you've had enough, and then you run out of your door with a chain saw in your hands. Afterwards you just curl up on the floor again and cry like a little girl, right?

I once back in 1997 broke an entire set of dishes on the kitchen floor to release some pent up energy. I had to retile my whole kitchen.

I should of had a good cry instead.

I've done that. It also works to scream while driving on the freeway. No one can hear you. Feels good!

i sat up against my car and balled like a fuckin baby after I finalized my divorce. Made me feel a hell of a lot better. Sometimes you just gotta let it out. I normally get angry, but this time I just completely broke and snapped. It happens.... it's fine as long as it doesn't get anyone hurt.... although a lotta times i would like to beat the hell outta someone. It's very healthy for the mind to vent in whatever way

It is okay to cry and vent. It is okay to cry and bring forth tears as tears are a very good release but when you lay down on the floor and curl up in a fetal position it is a whold different ball game.........a dangerous game, very dangerous.

I have cried. I am not cold or indifferent......but there is a huge difference between releasing your emotions with tears and collapsing into an infantile/decompensated state.

Know the difference as it could mean your very life.

If you aren't one what do you expect to accomplish?

Tear are actually a cleansing....a chemcial cleansing but one must control the depth at which one allows oneself to decompensate.

Pay heed to this warning.

One cannot defend nor protect themselves when decompansated....and is only open for others to take advantage of them. When decompensated one is actually emotionally crippled.
