Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15256858 Those of you encouraging this are encouraging death. I can't believe how many on this thread are so weak. NONE of you encouraging that a person devolve into weakness are survivors. You are wrong. It is NOT a sign of weakness. It gets to a point when you have just had enough shit that a good cry can do you wonders. You probably do it yourself but are too gutless to admit it. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28436194 no, it's fucktards like you who buy into the bullshit that we need to suppress our feelings. real men DO cry... maybe you'll find out when you lose a family member You are gravely mistaken. No one should suppress emotions but you had better dam well control them if you want to continue to live. There are MANY out there that are just waiting for you to devolve into weakness and they will gladly and happily take you out of your misery. |

You tards out there don't get it, do you? Laying on the floor is opening yourself to ANYONE that wants to come in and SUGGEST SOMETHING TO YOU. These well meaning but stupid people or evil ones that have an agenda will gladly help you right out of this world with their crap about how you deserve to feel this way and that there is nothing you can do. You had better stand up and fight like your life depends on it because it freaking DOES. THERE IS NO ROOM FOR WEAK PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD......THEY CHECK OUT WHILE THE STRONG LIVE ON. |

This is similar to sentimentality but with this difference — emotionalism is a state of being where a man is dominated by his feelings. He cannot seem to get past them. He is depressed. He is fearful and anxious. He feels bad about himself. He is paralyzed with fear. He cannot seem to get going in the morning. He wallows in his misery and looks for other men who will commiserate with him. Men’s groups like these remind me of the women in Jerry Maguire2 who are weeping and baring their souls to one another in their support group. Men who indiscriminately 'bare their souls' do not inspire leadership in their wives and children. Leadership can be a lonely existence. Sometimes a man must suffer alone, pouring out his soul to God, his only refuge and strength. [link to www.banneroftruth.org] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15256858 Curling up in the fetal position is very close to just giving up and checking out. Don't cry and curl up......... get mad and kick ass!!! People need their anger. Anger will save you. Curling up is giving up and dying isn't far behind. Get a grip and get mad. Get a puching bag and beat the living hell out of it. There is no knight in shining armour coming to resuce you on the floor. If you want to save yourself you have to "buck up" and "get a grip" and DON'T EVER SUCCUMB OR GIVE INTO THAT FETAL POSITION AGAIN........EVER!!!! You are no better than so called "therapist" that encourage people to "decompensate" into their infanile state. Unfortunately..........many of those people get stuck there and never come back. They become helpless and dependent and vulnerable to "suggestion". I would never allow myself to be put into that position where someone else could literally suggest I just go ahead and check out of this life. You people encouraging this person to decompensate have a special place in hell for your persuasion. I hope you rot there for ever. OP......don't listen to them. It is powerful suggestion and persausion....it is mind control and you at this point are very suggestable. BEWARE you have been warned. |

No one can hear you. Feels good! YES!!!! Screaming is good... Screaming and getting angry is a good survival mecanhism. It DOES work! and ......it is much better for your survival than cringing and crying and curling up in a fetal position. You know what surprises me is that there are no professionals chimming in here to validate what I said. You professionals KNOW what I said is truth and perhaps that is why you remain silent. Most professionals think it is a good thing to reduce a person to their infantile state and then rebuild allegedly....but when decompressed like that you are putting yourself and your very life into the hands of someone else and it will be at their whim if they help you back. This kind of "TREATMENT" could take years. Do you seriously think it beneficial for you to be decompressed for years????????????????? NOT especially when the freaking end of the world and nuclear war/WW3 is literally at the door. Do you seriously want to be in an infinite state when TSHTF???????????? I don't |

It's very healthy for the mind to vent in whatever way You can call it chronic paranoia... I call it critical thinking |

It is okay to cry and bring forth tears as tears are a very good release but when you lay down on the floor and curl up in a fetal position it is a whold different ball game.........a dangerous game, very dangerous. I have cried. I am not cold or indifferent......but there is a huge difference between releasing your emotions with tears and collapsing into an infantile/decompensated state. Know the difference as it could mean your very life. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 15256858 United States 11/28/2012 10:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Tear are actually a cleansing....a chemcial cleansing but one must control the depth at which one allows oneself to decompensate. Pay heed to this warning. One cannot defend nor protect themselves when decompansated....and is only open for others to take advantage of them. When decompensated one is actually emotionally crippled. When crippled one cannot survive an attack. Beware |
