It’s interesting to see how people here think people are conditioned to commit crimes against their will.

I’ve heard a guy who worked for the Old SADF Intel (Backed by the West at the time) Say this.

What they did was find a mark that had a propensity for violence with slight mental instability. These people are easy to find - at a pub, in Church groups and on the WWW now… All you need to do is listen and when the mark expresses anger toward the state or any organisation you then “read” and ‘befriend’ him just by agreeing. Then you start to massage his anger and fears while drawing him further into ‘action’ using the things he says..(An Ego thing) until it becomes difficult for him to back out of any ‘agreement’ you push him into…Last stage - he is carrying a bomb in a bag to take out a ‘Leader or innocents’ in the Apartheid Government (expendable people) and then you get the state Police and media to blame it on the communist terrorist – with the proof. A bomber caught at the scene who admits to what his done under interrogation because you know everything about him. No lawyer can defend him without looking like a nut if he uses his client’s ranting’s about his special friend/s that helped him do it.

Classic example below – where it would be so easy for the agencies that operate like this to ‘let’ the plot unfold in real time. This could easily have happened depending on the need. Foiling a plot justifies security budgets while following through (allowing them to happen) increases those security budgets. It also hides operations in the open.
