It is not that I go around trying to disprove the existence of a God, I just do not believe.
As a child I was told of Santa, and believed in this as if he was fact, nothing you could say could change my mind. Then I grew up. We have all seen the faces of children once they come to the realization that Santa does not exist. You can see the shock on their faces and some cry, to me this is the stage you are in right now with a belief in the supernatural and God.
How is it we say the Greek Gods and stories are all myth, yet believe in a set of the same mythos around God and Christ? To me, they are all stories and mythos, one and the same.
No, I do not have all the answers. I have no idea how we came to be, but at the same time I do not try to equate this was magic, religion, and such.

Some say that people would become evil and not know right from wrong without religion. What about animals? They seem to get along quite well with no religion. We all know the difference between right and wrong, without the need for religion, and as the matter goes the world seems to have done many evil deeds in the name of religion.

The Dark Ages were called that because of the control of religion. We were taught incorrect ideas: the world was flat, the earth was the center of the universe, people were killed or imprisoned when they attempted to educate the world on Gravity, Planets, and other ideas that we take as common knowledge today. It seems we are in another Dark Age, where these beliefs are once again trying to hold us back, why?
