In a free and democratic political system you have to be a part of it, in order to oppose it.
Sure he is an MEP, but that is because he can talk and lead the many other independence parties in the European parliament.

A vast number of MP's in Britain now see the European parliament gravy train as their next stepping stone after Westminster and this now has to stop.
I have voter UKIP for years since they were formed and it now seems that the rolling stone is gathering speed.
