the whole Aussie continental plate is being pushed under the Indian plate, forcing up the Himilayas. The Eastern side of the Aussie continent is being thrust upwards, in the form of the Great Dividing Range. As the Aussie plate pushes further under the Indian plate the whole West coast of Oz will go underwater. Combined with dramatic sea level rises and tsunamis many intuitives have seen the West Aussie coast go under within one hundred years. It will start to be noticable within twenty years.
