But oh no! There's a girl on the box. This is as stupid as the ads with boys with dolls and girls with cars. It has never stopped a kid from playing with a toy they wanted to until someone told them it wasn't for their gender. |

We all thought we was headed off to engineering school as an adult. He went on from there to take cars apart and restore them for a hobby (mostly old Thunderbirds). I think the easybake oven was just one medium he used to create things. He was always creating things. Still is today. Now he's a cloud marketer who makes the most awesome pies at Thanksgiving! |

He asked for one at Christmas. My mother told us all not to laugh at him. Glad we didn't. Girls will still mostly play with the ovens and dolls with brushable hair while boys will want action figures. But if a boy wants some Barbies with his GI Joes and a girl wants the Avengers on dvd for xmas this is not disturbing. |

But when he watches the commercials for a product he’s hoping to get for Christmas — the Easy Bake Oven — he only sees girls playing with the toy. Because of that, he believes that “only girls play with it.” Quoting: Philligan Pope is hoping to change that perception with a video and a petition. She is asking Hasboro — maker of the Easy Bake Oven — to start putting boys in their commercials, so that her little brother sees it’s okay for boys to cook: Damn, does she ever kick ass!! It's on now, Hasbro! |

When I was a little girl, I was a lego kid and no way would I have played with "Lego Friends" those girly legos. I wanted action, adventure, castles, pirates, and huge battles. I did not particularly care for baby dolls or barbies, even though that is what people kept getting me! Today, I am a wife and mother, but when I was a kid I had literally no drive to play with baby dolls. I did, however, make some ass-kicking stuff in ye olde EZ-Bake oven and so did my bro. I mean, really, what kid doesn't want the power of cookie making in the palm of their hand?? |

Just sayin' Quoting: Leslie Zevo They are pretty cool eh? I dont know if ive seen a boy with one though, Because the ovens are pink and girly, and boys will be called 'gay' if they play with it. Scott Conant and Bobby Flay are VERY manly chefs, and I'm positive that Conant could twist the head off of any pansy that calls him a name. |
