Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29043994 Ding-ding-ding. As the old man Ronald Raegan famously said, though I may be paraphrasing "Freedom is NOT passed genetically or through a King's decree. It must be re-affirmed & re-vitalized by each sucessive generation" And the apathetic PUSSIES who compise MY genertion coming up.... well, the whole "freedom", "individual exceptionalism", "capitalism", "Constituional process", "World's Superpower" thing.... is HARD WORK, it's SLOW and at times it can get BORING. So, instead, let's pretend to be some micro-wavew instant "revolutionaries" on Twitter and X-Box-720, yo! We don't want to work or earn money or bother with history or war or It's the New America Dawn, yay! Free stuff for everybody! Obama phones!!! I mean, who do you think gave us Twitter, X-Boy, Facebook, fast Internet, NFL, Hollywood blockbusters, the 1st Amendment, etc, etc, etc ---> and everything in between??? That's right: some super-hard working, hellaciously ambitious individuals.. wworking within the frame-work of Capitalism, Free Market, Western Culture....from generations past! In other words, the big-mouth Twitter clowns -- both in the US and in Egypt and everywhere else who love to bad-mouth America and the West --- have ACCOMPLISHED nothing yet -- not on any sustainable, verifiable basis. I mean, look at how much trouble they are having in Egypt despite billlions of dollars of aid poured in both by US/EU and by Saudis/Qataris. Huh, who woudda thunk it, just a year ago????? LOL, it turns out: it's MUCH, MUCH easier to DESTROY something than it is to BUILD (a functioning, modern society). People in US have it SO good even in the midst of a terrible economic crisis.. y'all have NO idea..... |
