Just watched jazz vs clippers last night and the refs had three crucial calls in the last minute that were blatantly wrong and ultimately cost the jazz the game. Even the announcers on the radio were obviously upset with the refs and sounded like they were suspicious. L.A. is a much bigger market than Utah so it would be more profitable for that market to win(increased ticket and merchandise sales). Made me think???

100 percent controlled. Take boston miami last year. There was almost know way the nba wanted to celtics to play for title over miami. Miami was missing chris bosh till 5th game. So the first game the refs blew whistle at celtics even if they looked at miami player. They took away bostons tough physcical play away. They didnt want them to push miami around till bosh got back. Granted lebron went off. But watch the first game. And clearly a agenda was in place

The L.A. Clippers' owner, David Sterling, and the NBA Commissioner, David Stern, are also both jewish. The Utah Jazz owner, Larry Miller, is not.
Apollo astronauts couldn't have passed through Van Allen's Belt. Van Allen wore suspenders.

Last year, the Lakers tried to get Chris Paul from the New Orleans Hornets. The deal was all set to go, but NBA Commissioner David Stern (jewish) nixed it. I'm still not clear why exactly. Sounded really fishy. Made headlines. The Lakers are owned by Jerry Buss, not jewish. Instead, Chris Paul wound up going to the Clippers whose owner IS Jewish -- Donald Sterling.

Yes. That's why Las Vegas hasn't gotten a professional sports team.

There is definately something strange going on. I am wondering who are the ones pulling the strings? They must be very powerful to suppress media attention that a book like Personal Foul would potentially attract.

I am surprised no one has brought up the lottery that is held behind closed doors. How many last place teams end up getting the 4th pick when the draft is 3 deep.

All penalties are selectively enforced. Look at lebron when he bulldozes everyone on a layup and the other teams gets a foul.

Re: Is the NBA rigged?? Tim Donaghy's book "Personal Foul" along with dicey calls at crucial moments it seems like it
first off im a huge sports fan, and i sometimes wonder if the games are sometimes throwed. not FIXED cause not every player makes the same ammount of money and there contracts go off of performance. so a player trying to get a bigger check aint gonna throw a game or let anyone fix it if they have anything to do about it . now about the games being throwed, i can see the happening in the NFL cause the QB has alot of control or the game, like interceptions, bad throws ect. but again this wouldnt be a QB or player trying to get a higher paying contract it would have to be a top teir QB that made there money.
im gonna call BS on 80% of it.
80% IS LEGIT 20% IS THROWED.
