WE FINALLY FOUND IT! Amateur astronomer has located Planet X in the sky! | |

It's yet another video of CW Leonis. Hooray, he's only like the 1,000,000th youtuber to find it without being competent enough to correctly identify it. Quoting: Dr. Astro Everyone knows you're a shill with software to detect anything regarding "non-mainstream" space theories. You really should try another screen name, no one buys your shit. |

Menow User ID: 18943200 United States 12/05/2012 11:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | the post just went up, the videos are 6 and 9 minutes long, please look at the videos then post, so that we can get your thoughts based upon evidence. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8407446 Most of the debunkers are paid to insult our quest for questioning. Of course that is false and just a necessary part of the Nibiru hoax. Do not take it personally. Most of GLP visitors are truly searching for answers. The ones who automatically post some bs answer are truly bs themselves. They get paid to confuse and pollute the truth. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10970685 You are invited to show where what debunkers post is "bs". I bet you won't even try. I myself do not believe everything I see here but like most people I still look for answers and this is a great forum to do it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10970685 good presentation though. time will tell if it is valid or not. What, exactly, about those vids is "nice"? Please be specific. You are a perfect example of what I am talking about. how do you know KNOW Nibiru is a hoax? You cant. Sure I can. How? By having observed it for the last decade or more and witnessed the level of pure BS, misrepresented facts and outright lies it produces. Oh... and knowing just enough about astronomy to know horseshit when I see it. Also by witnessing the caliber of people who believe in it and the ridiculous things they believe for no good reason at all. Have you ever even read Sitchens work?? I have . At this point nothing can be confirmed or denied because of paid shills twisting and insulting the presentation and the poster. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10970685 Sitchin's work is just made-up nonsense. AND... no orbit like he describes is possible. Either you know enough about astronomy to GET that, or you don't. There is not. If you disagree, then present SPECIFICS, not vague innuendo. It takes time to weed through all of the disinformation. I dont have an ir telescope. Do you? Thats my point Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10970685 and I didn't say it was nice. I said it was a good presentation. I think you said it was a "nice presentation". I asked you what was "nice" about it. Funny... you didn't answer. Soooo typical. Of course. You HAVE to in order to maintain belief. It is THE most important part of the Nibiru hoax. I'm not, but don't worry about appologizing. Instead- LEARN SOME ASTRONOMY! But it seems like you have nothing to offer in response accept calling it a hoax. I say offer something ,,,,,anything. and if you cant even agree that paid shill's only offer nothing but bs, then you will absolutely confirm my point. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10970685 What do you expect me to offer? You are asking me to prove a negative. It is for you people who believe this thing exists to show evidence of that. Why don't you people ever GET that? YOU have to say what/where it is, because YOU say it exists. Only THEN can people show that your evidence is faulty. That has been done over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again for over a DECADE now! If you claim it exists, then SHOW WHY! I am willing to bet that you only end up fixating on a giant conspiracy, because you can't present ANYTHING concrete to verify its alleged existence. |

Menow ain't worth all the good and great energy he will suck out of you. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24265006 Great Video. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11376209 Because you never looked at it with the 2MASS layer of WWT before? Seriously though, the 2MASS mosaic on WWT sucks compared to the raw data. It's blotchy and pixelated, it's a lot better to get the raw fits data and process it yourself. That's always true of course, but it's especially true in this case. Here's what my processed version of the 2MASS image of CW Leonis looks like: [link to i319.photobucket.com] There are still seams from where separate images from the 2MASS survey were combined, but I don't think it's going too far for me to say that my processing of the raw data is better than microsoft's in every conceivable way. It's far higher resolution; this is like zooming in on CW Leonis nearly all the way in WWT. If you're wondering why Microsoft didn't do it the way I did it, ask them, but I did process it by hand which just isn't practical for the whole sky. Still, I think I could have done a better batch job then they did if I had their computer equipment. They really need to hire a dedicated astrophotographer to handle the sky survey image data. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21108178 By that reasoning being a doctor doesn't make you an amateur astronomer either you jackass. Nobody knows what you are in real life but on here your just a shill period. Quite right. My knowledge and skill at astronomy and a desire to do it for the fun of it makes me an amateur astronomer. Nothing more, nothing less. And lots of people know that about me in real life. Some even tap me for help. this guy is an arrogant asshat. Oh yes, clearly I was way out of line in explaining what I am to some guy who called me a shill. If my confidence threatens you, too bad. I appreciate your expertise here, just keep doing what you're doing. |

Well the raw data is easily available from multiple websites, but if you're referring to Microsoft not wanting us to have access to better images... maybe there's some conspiracy at Microsoft to deliberately provide less than ideal quality stitched mosaics so that people will conspiracy monger regarding the problems and that will drive additional hits to their site as people gawk over pixelated low quality images. Just playing devil's advocate there for a second :) |
