GeordieLegend User ID: 4912635 Netherlands 12/06/2012 03:22 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A British Government safety campaign proclaims 'Speed Kills!' What nonsense. As an astronaut, I regularly travelled at 30,000 mph on space missions and came to no harm. The Titanic was doing less than 30 mph when it hit an iceberg and killed over 1,500 fucking people... Propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach... |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 16708181 Australia 12/06/2012 04:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As the front tyre hit the speedbump it compressed and gripped harder, putting more weight on the front and making the back even lighter. When the back tyre hit, and the front still weighted it was enough to kick the backend up for a classic end over. He should have released the brakes just before he hit, lightened the front and transfer weight to the back tyre under accelration. And stood the pegs. It would have been a big jump on a heavy bike like that, but he would have made it. Remember just coz you see someone wearing a uniform with pretty flashing lights on their bike, doesnt mean they can ride. There was one or to in the following biles that almost made the same mistake. |
