Question for sky watchers
So for about 3 mnths now my husband I have seen several falling stars and or something else. We have seen many glowing / sparks falling in the sky. We saw another this am around 6:20. My question is how many is normal to see? I can not recall ever seeing so many in my lifetime. 2 have fallen in direct sight meaning over the top of the garage burning out just as it came across and the other across the front porch. The others have been high in the sky. Has anyone else seen many of these as well? What are they? Seems falling stars would not be so many and maybe meteors..but so many?????

Re: Question for sky watchers
In November there were meteor showers, but I, too, have seen a lot of falling stars for about the past 3-4 months. I don't know what this means or where they're coming from.

Maybe we can find an answer here. I did check the shower forcast. The last one is 12/13-12/14. I remember the Nov one as well. I started looking the shower dates up when we started seeing them alot trying to coralate the sightings to them, however; we see them even out of the forcast dates.

Where are all the sky watchers? None of you are seeing increased activity in the sky?

Re: Question for sky watchers
My husband and I are early risers and for the past two months if I look up at the stars between 3am and 6am I've seen at least two shooting stars in a 5 minute period so I agree something's amiss, never seen that many before for so long a period of time
