They also trap tons of food and are prone to cause difficult cavities. My upper ones grew in straight and stopped growing before reaching the gum line so nothing had to be done about those. Soo here's the story of how it went. I walked into the operating room and sat on the chair, right away they hook up the heartbeat monitor and stick in an IV. They said the first drugs started rolling just to make me relaxed. Hard to tell, but my heartbeat was chilling at 60, I didnt feel nervous at all, and got really talkative. Soon the doctor came in and they started getting everything ready. Without telling me, they started the anesthesia and I felt the best feeling of my life. I have never been near this high before... It was a heavy rush of euphoria like weed x100. I might have said "wooaahh." Then it was just like someone hit the fast forward button. I felt them reach in and touch the right and left sides of my mouth for 2 seconds, then opened my eyes. I was terrified I had just woke up in the middle of it, but 45 minutes had passed and they were done. So far the most annoying part has been waiting for the Novocaine to wear off, they shoot you up before you wake so you have time to get some pain killers. Ive taken 2 so far and don't feel any pain yet. Thanks for all the feedback guys! Ive been reading them and cracking up at the videos. Anyone looking at this whose putting off getting it done, my best advice is to find an experienced surgeon. Most horror stories come from bad doctors. And honestly its worth it to experience that anesthesia, hooly SHIT it was amazing. No wonder Micheal Jackson abused it (allegedly). |
