Years back I overheard someone own a big group of people after an argument over the "moral rightness" or wrongness of homosexuals with a really compelling question:
"Why on Earth--with all the terrible things that gay people go through like discrimination, being treated horribly by family, co-workers & strangers, even being physically abused and even killed-- would anyone CHOOSE to be that way?"
Just something to think about.

A non believer can't just go "right, from now on I'm going to believe in god". You're either convinced or you aren't. I don't believe in a deity, nor do I believe we evolved from apes. I can't just choose to believe those things. So, you're saying you cannot make decisions in your life...you have no free will? Of course you do and the fact that there are those who don't believe, proves it; or else we all would or wouldn't believe.
